Cambodia's Action Plan to Prevent and Respond to Violence Against Children Cover

This five-year inter-ministerial action plan sets out the Government of Cambodia's strategy to prevent and respond to violence against children, in response to the 2013 Cambodia Violence Against Children Survey (CVACS). Led by the Ministry of Women's Affairs and developed through a Steering Committee of 13 government ministries together with four Technical Working Groups (including UN agencies, NGOs, CSOs and youth representatives), the Action Plan articulates strategies and activities along five key areas of intervention: coordination and cooperation, primary prevention, multi-sectoral child protection response services, law and policy formulation and amendment, and monitoring and evaluation, with capacity building as a cross-cutting issue.
