Advisory board

The Safe to Learn Advisory Board brings together representatives from Safe to Learn partner organizations, youth, survivors and global advocates working to end violence in schools.

The Advisory Board provides high-level strategic vision and guidance, advising on priorities, opportunities, and the overall ambition of the Safe to Learn agenda. Members champion the initiative publicly, support global advocacy and resource mobilization efforts, and use their influence to strengthen political commitments to safe learning. They also help maintain accountability by offering strategic oversight of progress and plans.

Advisory Board members commit their time, expertise, and active participation to advance Safe to Learn’s mission.

Secretariat

The Safe to Learn Secretariat sits within UNICEF and serves as the coordinating hub for the coalition. The Secretariat convenes partners around shared priorities, drives joint action towards implementation of the Safe to Learn Strategy, and strengthens collaboration across global advocacy and country engagement to end violence, in, around and through schools.
