Following the first investments to the field for Safe to Learn projects in May 2020, the End Violence Fund will make further investments to support the implementation of the Safe to Learn Call to Action in three of the endorsed countries: Cambodia, Lebanon and South Sudan.
This funding round will focus on encouraging better policies and strategies to prevent and respond to violence in and through schools and other learning environments. It will also seek to generate evidence and solutions that can serve as global goods. Projects will be selected through a targeted open call, in which selected partners will be invited to apply. Total funding to be awarded through this call is US$3.6 million.
Successful proposals will be announced in the fall of 2020.
